PAD-PAK™
The ground
breaking PAD-PAK™ is a single cartridge that contains both the
electrode pads and the battery combined. This cuts maintenance
in half with only one expiration date to monitor and only one item
to replace after a rescue. The PAD-PAK™ offers the lowest cost
of ownership compared to similar AED units that use the electrode
pads separate from the battery. The PAD-PAK™ lasts 4 years in
service and can deliver 30 shocks or monitor the patient for up to 6
hours.

exceeds military standards for drop and shock specifications (MIL
STD 810F) (Category 4 Truck Transportation & Category 7 Aircraft).
Furthermore, the Samaritan PAD has been classified as
IP56 (Dust & Water
Resistance), the only defibrillator in the world to have such
qualification for dust and water protection.

Biphasic Escalating Energy AED
The
Samaritan PAD™ is manufactured by Heartsine Technologies, a world
leader in personal and public access cardiac rhythm management with
over 4 decades of research, development, clinical studies, and
patented technologies. The Samaritan PAD uses HeartSine
Technologies
SCOPE™ Biphasic
(a low-energy waveform, 100j to 200j, that adjusts for the
differences in each person’s physical make-up) to deliver optimal
defibrillation to every patient.
User & Patient Safety
The Samaritan PAD will safely deliver a shock
ONLY if needed.
Once the electrode pads are attached on patient's chest, the
Samaritan PAD defibrillator will analyze the heart rhythm
and determine if a shock is needed. The "Shock Button" is
inactive until activated by the
defibrillator, this means
you or the rescuer cannot shock the patient by accident or error.
